Our storybegan 1992 in Cetinje
The privately owned company Zrnožit d.o.o. was founded in 1992 in Cetinje by Mr. Jovan Kaluđerović. The company initially focused on grain sales and processing, trade and transport. Since 2002, the company has dedicated itself to the production of dry-cured products, following traditional preparation methods, thus continuing a long-standing tradition of the Kaluđerović family.
We export products to the CEFTA countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia and Kosovo). In 2016 we are set to build a new manufacturing plant, which will consolidate the complete production cycle in one place, and by implementing EU standards we will bring our product onto the European market.
The profitability of this segment of our business, in which we operate true to our motto "We carry freight fast, accurate and reliable" is further provided by various transport agreements with leading EU based freight forwarding companies.
A vital part of this aspect of our business are cooling chambers for the initial storage of fresh and frozen meat with a temperature range from + 8 ° C to -25 ° C.
Our goal is to become even more successful and better, while maintaining the highest standards of customer satisfaction, both in the production of meat products, as well as in the field of transport and trade. In keeping with the slogan:
Production of high quality cured meats
Our primary goal is to produce high quality products, obtained in a traditional way - by air drying and cold smoking. Raw-meat materials of exceptional quality are the basis of our production. The high quality of our products is further guaranteed by the use of HACCP, a food safety system based on the analysis and control of potential biological / microbiological, chemical and physical hazards to which raw materials are exposed, as well as possible hazards during handling, production, distribution and consumption of the final product. Proof of the quality of our products are numerous awards obtained at prestigious fairs in the country and abroad, among them the gold medal award for quality won at the Novi Sad Fair.We export products to the CEFTA countries (Albania, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Moldova, Serbia and Kosovo). Our second business segment is international transport, carried out with a modern truck fleet (Scania, Volvo and Mercedes) powered by Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines and trailer vehicles for refrigerated and general cargo as well as cisterns for the transport of food items. Import, export and wholesale
Import, export and wholesale of food items make up the third segment of our business.
